New regional airline Happy Air launched it three-times weekly flights from Phuket in Thailand to Malaysia's duty free island of Langkawi. The service, which takes 40 minutes, is aboard a Swedish SAAB 340 aircraft. The service links these two popular holiday islands giving the option of a twin-centre holiday. Both islands offer the choice of standard as well as luxury hotel accommodation.
